Content you add
You can add content to Comprehensy, such as articles or other reading materials.
When you add content, we may process and store it so you can read it, listen to it, sync it across devices, and access it later.
We may also process content you add to provide language-learning, reading, listening, audio, search, and sync features.
We do not use the content you add to train AI models.
If a feature uses external AI, speech, translation, or text-processing providers, those providers may process the content only as needed to provide that feature.
How we use data
We use data to:
- Provide and maintain the app
- Create and manage your account
- Save and sync your content
- Process content for reading, listening, and language-learning features
- Manage your subscription
- Understand how the app is used
- Improve the product
- Find and fix crashes and performance issues
- Prevent abuse and protect the service
- Provide support
- Comply with legal obligations and handle disputes
Legal reasons for using data
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we need a legal reason to use your personal data.
These are the reasons we rely on:
- To provide the app and your account
- To manage subscriptions and support requests
- To improve the app and fix problems
- To prevent abuse and keep the app secure
- To follow legal, tax, accounting, payment, refund, dispute, and compliance requirements
- To use your consent when consent is required
We do not use your data to make important decisions about you automatically.
Analytics and diagnostics
We use Mixpanel to understand how people use the app.
We use Sentry to find crashes, bugs, and performance issues.
Analytics and diagnostics are processed in the EU region.
Mixpanel may receive approximate location based on your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored.
Analytics and diagnostics help us understand usage, improve the product, and fix problems. They are not used to track you across other apps or websites.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are handled through the Apple App Store.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and purchase history, so the app can tell whether you have access to paid features.
When you request a refund for an App Store purchase, we may share data about your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple, through RevenueCat, to help Apple decide your refund request.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store account settings.
Deleting your Comprehensy account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Active subscriptions must be canceled separately through the Apple App Store.
Third-party services
We use trusted services to run Comprehensy:
- Clerk for sign in
- Cloudflare for backend, storage, APIs, and AI features (Workers AI and AI Gateway)
- OpenAI and xAI, our AI providers, which process content only as needed to provide AI-powered reading, listening, and language-learning features
- Mixpanel for analytics
- Sentry for crash reports and performance
- RevenueCat for subscriptions
- Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store payments
- Google for Sign in with Google
These services process data only as needed to provide their part of the app.
Some services may process data outside your country or region. When this happens, we use available legal protections where required.
Tracking
We do not use your data to track you across other apps or websites.
We do not use IDFA.
We do not show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt because Comprehensy does not perform cross-app tracking.
Local data
Some data is stored locally on your device, including encrypted data used for offline access.
When you sign out, local app data is cleared from your device.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
How long we keep data depends on the type of data, the feature involved, whether your account is active, whether we need the data to provide the app, and whether we need to keep it for security, abuse prevention, legal, tax, accounting, payment, refund, dispute, or compliance reasons.
Content you add is kept while your account is active, unless you delete the content or delete your account.
Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your account data and user-added content, except for limited data we still need to keep for the reasons above.
Analytics and diagnostics may be kept in aggregated or de-identified form after they are no longer linked to your account.
Subscription and purchase records may remain with Apple, RevenueCat, or us as needed for payments, receipts, refunds, subscription history, accounting, tax, or legal reasons.
Support messages may be kept as long as needed to handle your request, keep business records, prevent abuse, or resolve disputes.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and related data from within the app. You can also contact us at:
support@comprehensy.comDeleting your account removes your account from our records and deletes personal data associated with your account that we are not legally required or reasonably need to keep.

We may retain limited information to prevent abuse, protect the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the use of your personal data.
You may also have the right to withdraw consent where we use your consent.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
